My First Experience of Vancouver

Last nite I rchd the Vancouver airport at around 7:30p.m local time and was surprised to see that it was still daylight. The journey was tiring and the flight from Taipei to Vancouver was really disappointing.. though the plane was big.. the seats were smaller and had no in flight entertainment. The flight from delhi was nice on the contrary. After reaching the airport, I had to wait for almost an hour for collecting the baggage and afterwards had to stand for around 2 hours at the immigration counter. It was almost 10 when I left the airport and it was still day, the sun was on the horizon.. quite strange.

On reaching the apartments I met up with Matt and Salil and finally got the keys to my new apartment. Me and Salil went to the seven eleven store and got ourselves some ready to eat pasta for dinner and corn flakes n milk for the breakfast. Also got some ready cold coffee for myself :D..

Today was a nice day.. being my first day in Vancouver.. it was great..The apartment we got is also amazing. Its a bit small as compared to an Indian accommodation but overall the place is nice and has everything and every utility.

I woke up to a warm n sunny day with the view of the coal harbor. It was simply beautiful, with private yatches and biplanes floating around..
Salil my new flat mate was still suffering from jet and slept throughout the day, quite boring. While I managed to go out and meet some Indians studying at VFS. I called up Ravi (senior at VFS) who showed me around and told me about the places nearby and where to buy cheap stuff from. We had Veg Biryani and Dal Bukhara for dinner at an Indian bistro owned by a punjabi. The place was nice and the price was reasonable too.. avg cost per person was $7-$8. Returning back home I witnessed a couple kissing on the street for the first time.. and two drunk girls walking and giggling around.. lol

There are still a lot of stuff to learn here.. like how to use the dishwasher, garbage disposal and washer/dryer unit.. hopefully tommorrow turns out to be even a better day.

Gud news.. Im finally working in an animation studio.. Atlast! I get a chance to work in the industry :)

Moving on, 2day i was chatting with my friends as to what is our future gonna be? And if you ask me, I dont think its gnna be a bright one judging by the way our studies are going-on in college.. Are we gonna get fucked up? Thts the biggest question! The answer.. well.. i'll have to wait one n a half yr for tht.

2day I also tried my hands on digital painting.. tried painting my face. And i guess i did alrite for my first attempt, though i wont be posting tht on my blog ;) (it isnt tht gr8 to show off... hehe)

Lifes a bitch and so are girlfriends

Well I guess many people are gnna agree with me on this.. those hu dont will find out on there own. Sumtimes I wonder, this world is nuthin but a place full of mean people and hatred. All life does is hurt you..

Ne how, I havnt updated much of my blog recently, so i decided to write sumthing down. Today I tried my hands on creating a BG with some colour pencils.. Mann they r tough! Two of my frnds showed me some of there digital BGs.. awsum work.. I guess I better start taking classes frm them :)
